We have been very busy here preparing the house for us to move in and putting together weekly services.
This week was our second weekly services, and we had a decent turnout with some new faces. We are still getting into the routine of service preparation, setup, and teardown, but each week we have been learning what types of things work or don't work.
The Seymour Osman Community Center (SOCC) works as a great location, and has several possibilities for how we can use the space. Nathan was able to get a topper for the truck last week at a great price, so we no longer have to worry about the weather each Sunday as we transport everything needed for the services.
On the home front, Nathan and I will be making the big move to our new house this weekend. I am excited about the number of people that have committed to come help us out (and we'll gladly take more!). We have been very busy the past month getting the house ready for us to move in by replacing floors, painting, etc. This week we will be focusing on packing and finishing all the small things that need to be done in the house.
I have been recording the sermons from the weekly services, and I apologize that those are not yet on the site. Once things calm down a bit, I'll be able to get those prepped and online.
Happy Thanksgiving, Chrissy and Nathan.
