Lets try Plan C

Alright, its been a couple more weeks. I've been slowly getting less uncomfortable, until last night. The last 24 hours have been an exercise in trust, a trust that this will end. I went to the doctor again today and we're scheduled for a surgical consult next week.

Until this gets resolved Imago Dei is on hold. I can't stand long enough to walk out of the house, much less to set up a service and teach a lesson. Plan C is simply "We'll C about moving forward once Nathan can move".

Likely I will end up having a micro discectomy. That is where they make a small incision and go in with a camera and a small "shop-vac" and remove all of the pieces of the herniated disc. It would be an outpatient procedure that often has people back on their feet in 48 hours. Please be praying extensively for me and the church. I have been in the most pain I have ever experienced in my life over the course of the last, nearly, 4 weeks. I can bully through pain when I see an end, but unless something drastic happens, there is no definite end. Without my income from the UPS Store and with medical bills beginning to pile up, we have to move forward with something. Unless God works some serious miracles, surgery is the only thing that will get me up and moving.

Grace and Peace
