As we near our kickoff on April 24th (Easter Sunday) we are retooling our primary website (www.TheImagoDei.com) to focus more on people who are interested in attending services. So if things over there move around a little on you, don't be worried, its all still there, just may be in a new place. The Blog here will pretty much stay the same.
I was informed by Praveen that for most online banking, you can actually send out a check from your online profile to the church! He even demonstrated how it worked. So if you've been putting off donating now there is another easy way to do it. Just add a new payee and put in our information (church name, address, etc) and your bank will send a check directly to our PO Box. Crazy. Folks, we have had many people who have been very generous, and they are likely the ones reading this. I want to say, thank you. Those who have not donated yet, or who have lapsed, I want to ask you to please make a donation, even if its a one time thing. God is blessing us in many ways and it would really suck if we couldn't take advantage of an opportunity because of a lack of funds. We trust God that He will provide, He provides through you and through His Kingdom.
Thanks to all who participated in the April 1st Fasting and Prayer day!
We have had a local church (Journey Church in Rochester) offer to help us out in a number of ways. They are talking to the congregation about people to help us set up and tear down on Easter, as well as getting people to help us spread the word of the service in the next 2 weeks. Journey has been both an encouragement and a blessing in many ways and we want to thank them for all they've done. If you would be so kind as to thank them for all they're doing I would appreciate it (please mention you are thanking them for helping Imago Dei): Journey Contact
PLEASE!! PLEASE!! PLEASE!!
We are asking people who may have free time (for whatever reason), to come up here to Dover to help us spread the word. NOW IS THE TIME! I can pick you up from Boston or Manchester airports, we have a good sized hide-a-bed (provided you're not allergic to cats), and we need people to help us spread the news of the church. We are sponsoring prayer walks, newspaper ads, handouts, and more. If you have any interest, please get in contact with me by email or by phone.
If there's any thing you can think to do to help us out, we would greatly appreciate it.
