Ladies and Gentlemen, as of 12:35 EST today Imago Dei is officially a church in the state of New Hampshire!! Praise the Lord!!! Its been an amazing day. I got the final signature I needed for the petition, I drove to the state capital and registered the church, then I came back and set up a bank account in the church's name. I can't tell you how excited I am. God has done amazing things for Imago Dei in the last 2 weeks. He has given us a place to start from and then gotten the ball rolling. I pray that the blessings will continue to roll. My hope for the rest of this week and next week is to get accounts set up with a direct bill pay and paypal that will allow you to donate electronically. I will also be reserving a PO Box to ensure the security of the gifts that you send.
I have set up meetings with a few other local pastors as well as some other church planters and church planting organizations. We have had a very positive reaction from the local places.
On a personal note we have been having a lot of trouble with the truck. In New Hampshire you have to have your vehicle inspected and they needed to do some work to bring it up to spec. We've had nothing but trouble since then. The mechanic has spent hours trying to figure out what the problem is. Our finances have been a little tough since the move (as its expensive to move across the country) and I haven't found any work yet. Please be in prayer for these things. We know that God is faithful and if we trusted Him to move 20 hours from home with no safety net, the we will trust Him to take care of these minor issues, but a little extra prayer can't hurt.
